Description
Genuine Czech military issue, the Vz. 92 Blouson is one of the most distinctive and collectible Cold War-era field jackets to come out of Central Europe. Issued to the Army of the Czech Republic following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, the Vz. 92 "needle" or "vzor 92" pattern features a subtle, mottled green-and-black print that reads almost solid at distance — superb low-visibility woodland concealment that doubles as understated everyday camo for the fashion-aware customer.
This is the short waist-length blouson cut: cropped silhouette, elasticized waistband, and buttoned cuffs that keep the jacket tucked clean over a belt or load-bearing gear. The full button-front placket, twin button-flap chest pockets, and notched collar give it that unmistakable Eastern Bloc field-jacket character that surplus enthusiasts, reenactors, and military fashion buyers can spot a mile away.
Why It Sells
- Authentic Czech military surplus — original-issue Vz. 92 work uniform, not a re-make.
- Distinctive Vz. 92 camo — instantly recognizable to collectors and a stand-out piece on any rack.
- Cropped blouson silhouette with elastic waist — clean lines, easy layering, no excess fabric to snag.
- Cotton/polyester blend — durable, easy-care fabric that holds up to repeated wear and washing.
- Reinforced elbows for real working-jacket toughness.

Customer Appeal
A natural fit for military surplus collectors, Cold War / post-Soviet reenactors, and airsoft and milsim players building authentic Eastern European loadouts. The muted green palette and short cut also crosses cleanly into workwear and streetwear — pair it with denim or olive cargos for the vintage military aesthetic that keeps surging through menswear. Lightweight enough for spring and fall layering, tough enough for yard work, range days, hiking, and camp wear.
Condition
Issued and used. Each blouson has seen service and will show honest field-use character — light wear, fading, laundering marks, and period hardware patina are part of the authenticity. No two are exactly alike.
