Description
Genuine Czech military issue cold-weather mittens in the unmistakable M95 vz. 95 woodland camouflage — the same pattern worn by the Army of the Czech Republic. Built for sentries, drivers, and field troops working in deep winter, these trigger-finger mittens keep the shooting hand mission-ready while a thick pile lining traps heat where ordinary gloves give up. For collectors, reenactors, hunters, ice fishermen, and any end customer who has to keep working when the temperature drops, this is authentic Eastern European surplus at its most practical.
The split-finger design isolates the index finger so the wearer can manipulate a trigger, zipper pull, rifle bolt, or smartphone-stylus tip without exposing the rest of the hand. The remaining fingers stay grouped in the mitten body, sharing warmth the way a traditional mitten does — a smarter solution than full gloves once the mercury really drops. Inside, a plush black pile lining cushions the hand and wicks moisture; outside, a tightly woven camo shell shrugs off wind and light snow.
Why It Sells
- Authentic Czech Army issue in the vz. 95 woodland pattern — real surplus, not a copy
- Trigger-finger construction appeals to hunters, target shooters, airsoft and paintball players, and tactical buyers
- Deep pile interior for serious cold-weather warmth
- Elasticated cuff seals out snow and helps lock heat inside
- Crosses over to ice fishing, snowmobiling, winter camping, and farm/ranch chores
- Collector and reenactor appeal for Czech and post–Cold War European militaria displays

- Separate index finger with reinforced seam for trigger work
- Elasticated knit cuff for a snug, draft-blocking seal under a jacket sleeve
- Roomy mitten body allows a thin liner glove underneath for layered warmth
Condition
Used, government-issued stock. Expect honest field-use character — minor wear, fading, or storage marks consistent with previously issued military gear. Each pair has served, and that provenance is part of the appeal for the surplus and collector market.
