Description
Add a piece of authentic Dutch military issue to your surplus apparel wall with the Dutch Armed Forces OD Jacket Liner. Originally issued as the waterproof component of the Dutch field jacket system, this lightweight olive drab shell buttons into a host parka or field jacket to turn it into a sealed-out, weather-ready layer. It's the kind of practical, real-issue surplus piece that moves quickly with hunters, hikers, preppers, and collectors alike.
The liner is built from a glossy ripstop-style nylon outer with a Sympatex waterproof/breathable membrane and fully taped seams — the same construction the Dutch Army relied on to keep troops dry in wet Northern European weather. A button-front closure with a generous storm placket and a stand-up collar lets it integrate inside a parent shell, while button-cuff sleeves seal off the wrists. Because there are buttons (not zippers or hook-and-loop) along the front and at the collar, it adapts to a wide range of jacket systems your customers may already own.
Key Features
- Sympatex membrane: waterproof and breathable — keeps rain out while letting body moisture escape.
- Fully taped seams for genuine all-weather protection.
- Stand-up collar and full button-front placket.
- Adjustable button cuffs to seal out drafts and rain run-off.
- Button-in attachment system compatible with a wide variety of host jackets and parkas.
- Lightweight nylon shell in classic Dutch olive drab — packs down small for a ruck, GHB, or glovebox.
Who It's For
This is a versatile sell across multiple end-customer groups: hunters and hikers looking for an inexpensive packable rain shell, preppers stocking layered clothing systems, airsoft and milsim players wanting authentic European kit, and collectors and reenactors rounding out a Dutch Armed Forces uniform set. The minimalist olive silhouette also has crossover appeal with fashion-forward buyers chasing the military-utility look.
Condition
Genuine used Dutch military surplus. Each piece has been issued and may show honest service wear — light scuffs, soft creasing, or faded markings consistent with field use. This is the real article from Royal Netherlands Armed Forces stocks, not a remake.
