Description
Genuine Greek Army Mummy Sleeping Bag — Grade II
This is an original-issue Greek Army mummy-style sleeping bag in classic olive drab, pulled from military stores and graded GR.II to reflect honest service wear. It's the real article — issued to Hellenic Armed Forces personnel for field bivouacs, exercises, and barracks use — and it carries the construction details collectors and outdoorsmen look for in authentic surplus bedding.
The mummy cut tapers from shoulders to foot to trap body heat efficiently, with an integrated drawstring hood that cinches around the head on cold nights. A side zipper opens from inside the bag so the user can vent or exit without breaking the thermal seal, and a hook-and-loop neck closure seals the top of the bag against drafts. The shell is a tough OD synthetic fabric, quilted in long vertical channels to keep the insulation evenly distributed wash after wash.
Who It's For
A strong stock item for shops serving campers, hunters, hikers, preppers, scout leaders, bushcrafters, and military surplus collectors. It's also a popular pick for paintball and airsoft players running weekend ops, cadet programs, vehicle emergency kits, bug-out bags, and anyone who needs a serviceable cold-weather bag without paying boutique outdoor-brand prices. Reenactors and Hellenic militaria collectors will appreciate the authentic issue origin.

Condition — Grade II
These bags have seen field service and are graded GR.II primarily due to fading of the outer shell — some examples show sun-bleaching or uneven color, which is why they fall short of GR.I. There are no functional issues: zippers, closures, hood, and insulation are all in serviceable condition. Each bag is unique and will vary slightly in shade and surface character — that's the nature of genuine, originally-issued surplus.
