GREEK OD M56 STYLE SUSPENDERS W/OPEN CLIP USED

Genuine Greek military-issue M56-style field suspenders in classic olive drab cotton web. Originally issued to Hellenic Armed Forces personnel to carry pistol belts, ammo pouches, canteens, and entrenching tools, these H-harness suspenders are the real deal — authentic surplus pulled from Greek government stores, not a modern remake.

The familiar M1956 LCE pattern gives these suspenders broad appeal across hunters, reenactors, bushcrafters, airsoft players, preppers, and surplus collectors. Padded shoulder sections distribute the load comfortably, while the open-clip hooks allow quick attachment to any standard eyelet-style pistol belt — Greek, US M56/M67, or compatible reproductions. The upper D-rings accept additional pouches, radio harnesses, or custom load-out accessories.

Construction & Features

• Heavyweight OD cotton webbing with reinforced stitching throughout
• H-back design with padded shoulder straps for load-bearing comfort
• Open-clip hooks at all four attachment points for fast on/off with eyelet pistol belts
• Front and rear D-rings for mounting additional pouches, hydration, or accessory straps
• Fully adjustable front and rear straps to fit a wide range of torso sizes
• Authentic Hellenic military issue — original surplus, not a reproduction

Condition

These are used/issued surplus items and will show honest field-use character — faded webbing, light scuffs on hardware, and period-correct patina. That wear is part of the provenance and gives each harness genuine military character that reproductions simply can't match.

Why It Sells

Classic M56 load-bearing gear remains one of the strongest-moving categories in the surplus world. Collectors want authentic examples, reenactors need period-correct kit, and outdoor and tactical customers appreciate the proven H-harness design at a price point that modern nylon rigs can't touch. Pair with surplus pistol belts and pouches for complete load-out displays that practically sell themselves.
