Description

The Spanish M58 CETME Bayonet with Scabbard is authentic Spanish military surplus — original issue for the CETME Model C battle rifle chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO, and equally at home on the FR-7 and FR-8 training rifles that armed generations of Spanish conscripts. This is the genuine article pulled from Spanish stores, not a modern remake, and it carries the honest character of a bayonet that saw real service life.

This piece has broad appeal on the retail floor. Military surplus collectors and Cold War-era arms enthusiasts prize the M58 (officially designated M1964, with later production known as M1969) as a distinctive Spanish contribution to post-war NATO small arms. CETME and FR-7/FR-8 rifle owners need it as the correct issue bayonet for their rifle. Reenactors, militaria displays, and edged-weapon collectors round out the customer base — and its rugged bolo-style blade also makes it a serviceable field and utility knife for the outdoorsman who appreciates original military steel.

Blade & Handle

The 9-inch black-finished steel blade uses an unfullered bolo profile — wide and heavy toward the tip and optimized for thrusting, exactly as the Spanish military specified. The black composite grip panels are deeply checkered for a positive hold in wet or gloved hands and are secured with steel rivets. A steel muzzle ring and internal locking mechanism lock the bayonet solidly to the rifle's bayonet lug.

Scabbard & Frog

The included olive-green composite scabbard features an integrated olive web belt frog with metal hangers and a snap-retention strap that secures the bayonet's grip during carry. A woven drain/lanyard cord is fitted at the tip. The complete rig hangs cleanly from a standard issue belt.
