Description
Genuine Swiss Army surplus, the M57 Bayonet is one of the cleanest, most collectible European bayonets to come out of Cold War service. Originally issued for use with the Swiss Stgw 57 (SIG 510) battle rifle, this is the real thing — pulled from Swiss military stores, complete with its steel scabbard and brown leather belt frog. For shops serving collectors, reenactors, militaria buyers, and bladed-tool enthusiasts, these tick every box: authentic provenance, robust construction, and instantly recognizable Swiss craftsmanship.
The M57 carries a long, double-edged spear-point blade in polished steel, paired with a ribbed black synthetic grip and a steel crossguard with the characteristic muzzle ring and spring-loaded rifle latch on the pommel. Each piece arrives in its original steel scabbard with a sewn brown leather belt frog featuring a riveted retention strap — period-correct hardware that displays beautifully and carries cleanly on a belt.
