Description
The US GI OCP Waist Pack is a genuine U.S. military-issued sustainment pouch from the MOLLE II load carriage system, finished in the Army's Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP / Scorpion W2). Originally issued to U.S. Army personnel to expand the storage capacity of the standard MOLLE II rucksack, it clips to the bottom of the ruck as a "butt pack" or wears independently as a hip pack for shorter movements. These are original-issue, field-used pieces — the real thing, not a copy — making them a strong stock item for surplus buyers, reenactors, airsoft players, hikers, and preppers looking for authentic, hard-wearing gear at accessible price points.
Construction follows the original U.S. government specification: heavy-duty Cordura-type nylon shell in genuine OCP printing, bar-tacked stress points, coyote/tan webbing straps, and side-release polymer buckles for fast open/close over the main compartment. A drainage grommet on the bottom sheds water and debris, and the reinforced base holds shape when loaded. The clean OCP outer face keeps the pouch visually consistent with current U.S. Army issue kit, while the interior offers a generous single main compartment for sustainment loads — spare layers, food, hydration bladders, mess kit, medical items, or mission-specific gear.

Who It Sells To
This is a versatile shelf item that moves across multiple customer segments. Hunters, hikers, and campers use it as a day pouch for snacks, layers, and small essentials. Airsoft and paintball players value the current-issue OCP look for realistic loadouts. Preppers and bug-out builders add it to existing MOLLE setups to expand capacity. Collectors and reenactors want genuine issue gear with real provenance rather than commercial copies.
Condition
Used, previously-issued condition. Expect honest field-use character — light scuffs, minor fading, and hardware patina consistent with authentic surplus. All primary buckles, straps, and stitching remain fully serviceable. This is the real, government-issued item, with the wear marks that only genuine service gear carries.
