Description
Genuine U.S. military issue Gen III ECWCS Level 5 Softshell Pants in the iconic Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Originally developed as part of the Army's Extended Cold Weather Clothing System, these trousers were built to serve as the cold-weather soft shell layer for soldiers operating in wet, windy, and high-output environments. Issued, inspected, and returned to stock — these are pre-owned but still have plenty of hard use left in them, making them an outstanding value piece for any surplus, tactical, or outdoor-focused retailer.
The Level 5 layer is the workhorse of the ECWCS Gen III system, designed to be worn as an outer garment in moderate cold or as a mid-layer in deeper cold. The stretch-woven softshell fabric resists wind and light precipitation while remaining highly breathable, so the wearer stays comfortable when patrolling, hiking, or scouting. For your customers, that translates to a versatile pant that bridges the gap between a fleece and a hardshell — useful nine months out of the year.

Fit & Care
Cut to a roomy military fit that layers easily over base layers or fleece bottoms. The stretch-woven shell drapes naturally and pairs well with tan, coyote, or olive tops for customers building a tactical-casual look. Machine washable; tumble dry low. Best worn in cool to cold conditions — ideal for late fall, winter, and early spring use.
