Description
Genuine U.S. Military M65 ECW Trigger Finger Mittens
Straight from U.S. government supply channels, these M65 Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) Trigger Finger Mittens are the real-deal cold-weather hand protection issued to American troops for arctic and deep-winter operations. The distinctive split-finger design keeps the shooting hand ready for action while the mitten shell locks in warmth — the same clever compromise that has kept riflemen, hunters, and cold-weather workers in the field for decades.
Built as a two-part system, the mitten pairs a tough olive drab cotton sateen outer shell with a heavy tan leather palm and trigger-finger panel. The OD shell shrugs off wind, snow, and abrasion, while the supple leather palm delivers grip on rifle stocks, ski poles, tool handles, and pack straps. An adjustable web strap at the wrist cinches the fit, and the elasticized gauntlet cuff extends over the coat sleeve to seal out drafts and drifting snow.
Who It Sells To
This is a proven mover for surplus stores, hunting outfitters, and outdoor shops in cold climates. Big-game hunters love the trigger-finger dexterity, ice fishermen and trappers appreciate the wind-blocking gauntlet, and preppers stock them as bomb-proof winter backups. Reenactors and collectors of Cold War and Vietnam-era U.S. field gear consider these an essential piece of the M65 layering system.

Condition
Used, previously issued condition. Expect honest field-use character — light staining, minor scuffs on the leather, and faded markings are all part of the authentic surplus story. These are working mittens with real service history, not display pieces.
Note: Shells only unless otherwise specified. For maximum warmth, pair with wool trigger-finger inserts (sold separately) to complete the ECW system as originally issued.
