USGI OD MEDIUM ALICE PACK (BAG ONLY) USED

The USGI Medium ALICE Pack is one of the most recognizable pieces of American military field gear ever fielded. Adopted as part of the All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment system in the 1970s and issued to U.S. troops for decades, this is genuine government-issue surplus — not a modern copy. Stamped with the iconic "US" on the top flap and finished in classic olive drab, it carries real service history and immediate visual authenticity your customers will recognize on sight.

This listing is for the bag only — frame, shoulder straps, and kidney pad are not included. That makes it a strong margin item for shops that already stock ALICE frames and suspension components, or a straightforward add-on sale for customers rebuilding or restoring their own rigs.

Who Buys It

The Medium ALICE has a broad, evergreen customer base: hunters who want a proven bush-country pack, backpackers and bushcrafters chasing the tough-as-nails reputation, preppers building bug-out loadouts, airsoft and milsim players kitting out Cold War and GWOT-era impressions, reenactors, ROTC and JROTC cadets, and collectors of U.S. military field gear. The distinctive silhouette also drives strong walk-in interest at surplus stores.

Construction & Features

• Genuine U.S. government-issue Medium ALICE Pack, bag component only
• Heavy-duty water-resistant coated nylon body in olive drab (OD green)
• Large main compartment with drawstring closure and top storm flap
• Three external cargo pockets with buckle-and-strap closures for organizing smaller gear

Condition

This is used, previously-issued surplus. Expect honest field-use character — minor scuffs, faded markings, stitching wear, and hardware patina consistent with service life. These marks are part of what makes the pack authentic and are prized by collectors and reenactors alike. Cosmetic condition varies from bag to bag.

Why Stock It

The ALICE Pack is a proven bestseller across the outdoor and tactical retail space. Name recognition is high, price-per-liter value is strong, and it cross-sells naturally with ALICE frames, shoulder straps, kidney pads, canteens, entrenching tools, and other USGI load-bearing equipment already on your shelves.
