Shipment of Your Order
How Sturm processes and ships wholesale orders from our Cartersville, Georgia warehouse — including standard shipping windows, our first-in, first-out order system, and expedited shipping options.

Section 1
Standard Shipping Window
Sturm typically processes and ships orders within a 3–5 business day window from the date the order is received and payment is confirmed.
During peak season or in the period following major trade shows, this window may extend to 7–10 business days due to higher order volume. We will notify customers of any significant delays affecting their orders.
Note: the shipping window reflects order processing and handoff to the carrier — carrier transit time is additional and varies by shipping method and destination.

First In, First Out Order Processing
Sturm uses a first in, first out (FIFO) order system to ensure fair and predictable shipping times for all wholesale customers. Orders are processed in the order they are received, regardless of account size or order value.
The only exception to FIFO order processing is expedited shipping (see Section 3).
Section 3
Expedited Shipping
Sturm offers expedited shipping for customers who need their orders processed and shipped ahead of the standard FIFO queue. To qualify for expedited processing, the customer must select and pay for one of the following expedited shipping methods at the time of order:
- 3 Day Select
- Next Day Delivery
Orders placed with expedited shipping methods are pushed forward in the order line and processed ahead of standard-shipping orders. Expedited shipping rates are calculated at the carrier’s published rate and added to the customer’s invoice.
Section 4
Shipping Costs & Discounts
Sturm does not offer free shipping or free freight on any orders. All shipping and freight charges are calculated based on weight, dimensions, destination, and shipping method, and are added to the customer’s invoice.
Sturm cannot provide shipping quotes at the time of checkout. Because of the variability in how surplus inventory packs — items vary widely in size, weight, and how they nest into cartons or onto pallets — final shipping costs can only be calculated once the order has been picked, packed, and weighed. The final freight cost will be added to your invoice prior to shipment.
All discounts at Sturm are handled on a per-item basis rather than through shipping promotions. Quantity discount thresholds are listed in our Terms & Conditions.
Section 5
Order Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order has been packed and shipped from our Cartersville warehouse, you will receive an invoice that includes the tracking number for your shipment. You can use this tracking number on the carrier’s website to monitor your shipment’s progress and confirm delivery.
