Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all wholesale orders placed with Sturm European Military Surplus Teesar Inc. (“Sturm,” “Sturm USA,” “we,” or “us”). By placing an order or maintaining a dealer account with Sturm, you agree to the terms below.

Section 1

Account Eligibility

Sturm USA is a wholesale-only distributor. All accounts must be established for legitimate business-to-business transactions. Sturm reserves the right to deny or cancel any account that does not meet our requirements for doing business as a wholesale customer.

Section 2

Payment Terms

All new accounts begin on credit card payment terms. Net terms are available only after the customer submits and Sturm approves a completed credit reference report. To request net terms, contact Sturm directly by phone or email; we will provide the required documentation for you to complete and return.

International accounts are paid by wire transfer in advance. Goods are not released from our warehouse until payment is received.

Customers approved for net terms who elect to pay those terms by credit card will be charged an additional 5% processing fee.

Section 3

Past-Due Accounts

Sturm reserves the right to charge interest on any past-due invoices. All past-due balances, including any accrued interest, must be paid in full before the customer’s next order will be processed.

Sturm reserves the right to halt shipments to any account that is past due. The customer will be notified when their account is placed on hold.

Section 4

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. Adjustments may be made to reflect increased tariffs, freight, import duties, or other cost factors beyond our control.

Section 5

Shipping & Delivery

All orders ship from our warehouse in Cartersville, Georgia. Sturm will schedule all shipments by default unless the customer notifies us in writing that they wish to schedule the shipment themselves.

Customer-scheduled shipments: If the customer elects to schedule the shipment and any damage or loss occurs in transit, Sturm is not held responsible. No credit or replacement will be provided for damage or loss on customer-scheduled shipments.

Orders not picked up or shipped within 30 days: If the customer is notified that the order is ready and the order remains unshipped for 30 days, Sturm reserves the right to return the order to inventory. A 2% restocking fee will apply and must be paid in full before the customer’s next order is processed.

Section 6

Inspection & Complaints

The customer has 14 days from the invoice date to inspect goods and submit any complaints. Sturm is not responsible for any claims made after this 14-day window.

All complaints must be submitted in writing by email, with photographs documenting the issue. Sturm reserves the right to deny any replacement or credit at our discretion.

Section 7

Returns

All returns require prior approval. The customer must contact Sturm to request authorization before returning any goods. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

If a customer is unsatisfied with an order and Sturm denies a credit or replacement request, the customer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs before any credit will be issued to the account.

Section 8

MIL-TEC® Warranty

Sturm provides a 30-day warranty on MIL-TEC® items, beginning on the date the customer sells the item to the end user. To claim warranty replacement, the customer must provide a receipt or order number with the date of sale to the end user.

Authentic military surplus items are sold as-is and are not covered by the MIL-TEC® warranty. Surplus condition grading is noted on the product page (Used, Like New, New, etc.) prior to purchase.

Section 9

Website & Account Use

Use of our website is restricted to the specific business associated with your dealer account. Sturm does not permit one business to place orders on behalf of friends, family, or other businesses. Sturm reserves the right to cancel any order that is not for the customer’s own business.

Section 10

Trademarks & Intellectual Property

Many of the products distributed by Sturm are protected by registered trademarks and other intellectual property rights. Any infringement on these products — including but not limited to unauthorized reproduction, counterfeiting, or misuse of branding — will result in immediate cancellation of the customer’s account, and Sturm will pursue all appropriate legal action.

Section 11

Export Policy

Products displayed or described on the Sturm website are strictly prohibited from export without:

  1. The express written approval from the manufacturer of the product, and
  2. The applicable U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce license required to export.

It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain all required export approvals and licenses prior to any export. Sturm assumes no liability for unauthorized exports made by customers.

Section 12

Compliance With Laws

You agree to fully comply with all federal, state, and municipal laws, regulations, and other requirements in connection with the sale, shipment, and delivery of the products displayed or described on the Sturm website.

You agree that it is your responsibility to confirm whether all products listed on the website are legal for purchase, shipment, and resale in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction(s) of your customers.

You agree that it is your sole responsibility to adhere to all regulatory requirements, including, without limitation: confirmation of the purchaser’s age, verification of identification, and licensing held by the purchaser. You further agree to maintain all necessary business licenses required by federal, state, and local laws relating to the resale of the products you purchase from Sturm.

Note: certain products distributed by Sturm — including but not limited to gas masks, knives, bayonets, and items with chemical/biological/radiological protective components — are subject to state-specific resale and shipment restrictions. The customer is solely responsible for confirming legality before resale.
